RIP Li'l Ghost Kitty

We lost our baby kitty. She was playing with a toy that had a loose piece of string, and she swallowed it. It got bound up in her intestines. By the time we could get her to the emergency vet, it was all the way through her digestive system. The string bound in her guts caused her to dehydrate. She had a cardiac arrest while undergoing surgery. It was utterly devastating – especially for Dave, since she was very special to him.
Pet parents: Don’t let your fur-children play with loose string, yarn, or other fibers.
We did a fundraiser for Al-Van Animal Control in her honor.  RIP, Li’l Dickens, the Ghost Kitty.
